Tip One – Keeping on top of their tail
Keeping their tail soft and tangle free will help keep it full and thick and stop you pulling out knots and strands that will thin it out. Wash and condition and then spray with a quality detangler. Then rinse, spin around, comb out and spritz with a detangler. Then to finish off once it’s all combed out and straight, square off the end – ideally with clippers (gives the cleanest cut!)
Tip Two – Hot Clothing
Brier loves treating her boys to a hot cloth to prime up their coats without giving them a whole bath. Useful in winter time when you don’t want to get them soaked! The heat and steam lifts the dust and grease from their coats which you then wipe away with the cloth. Get a bucket of hot water – only as hot as you can comfortably touch – dunk a cloth or sponge and wring out, then wipe and repeat!
